Silk Painting

Students will make two pieces. All supplies provided

Students need to bring a photo to paint from that is sized to 8X8 and small pointed paint brushes.

This is an introductory class designed to explore and experiment with the basics of silk painting. The class will provide instruction in the basic types of silk, its preparation, design and dye application. Silk applications require steaming to set the dyes, and due to time constraints the  instructor will process the finished projects and return them to the Guild to be picked up.
