Call for Artists: Topeka Zoo Keepers Animal Art Fundraiser July /August

We are seeking artists to donate 5" x 7" panel board paintings featuring zoo animals for an upcoming fundraiser in partnership with the Zoo Keepers Association.

This special event will showcase artwork created by both talented local artists and zoo animals themselves. The zoo keepers will be bringing paintings made by the animals, and we would love to display and sell artist-created animal portraits alongside them.

Purpose:
All proceeds from the fundraiser will help purchase specialty enrichment toys and activities for the animals.

Artist Donation Requirements:

• One or more original paintings on 5" x 7" panel board
• Subject matter: Zoo animals
• Any painting medium is welcome
• Artwork will be framed for display and sale by the Topeka Art Guild

Artist Recognition:
We will Promote artist on Display so attendees can learn about and connect with participating artists. This is a wonderful opportunity to support animal enrichment while gaining exposure for your work.

Artist Donation Agreement

By signing up, I voluntarily donate my artwork to the Zoo Animal Art Fundraiser benefiting animal enrichment programs and specialty toys.

I understand and agree that:

1. The artwork I submit is an original work created by me.
2. My artwork is being donated to the fundraiser and will become the property of the Topeka Art Guild event organizers upon submission.
3. The artwork may be displayed, promoted, auctioned, raffled, or sold as part of the fundraiser.
4. I will not receive financial compensation from the sale of the donated artwork.
5. All proceeds from the sale of the artwork will be used to support animal enrichment and specialty toy purchases.Topeka Art Guild is Donating their commission. 
6. I grant permission for photographs of my artwork to be used for event promotion, marketing, social media, and future fundraising materials.
7. I will be credited as the artist and promoted whenever reasonably possible.
