Join Us for the Topeka Art Guild Fine Art Fair

Now in its third year, the Topeka Art Guild Fine Art Fair kicks off the region's art fair season, the first show of the year and the only one held indoors. Spend a weekend of showing and selling your work alongside fellow fine artists, and connecting with collectors and art lovers at Fairlawn Plaza Mall this coming March 6th and 7th, 2027.

About the Fair

For three years running, the Topeka Art Guild has brought a juried fine art fair inside Fairlawn Plaza Mall,  giving the community a chance to browse and buy original, handmade work just as the new year's art season gets underway. Because the fair is held indoors, it's sheltered from Kansas' unpredictable early-spring weather, drawing a steady mix of mall visitors and dedicated art patrons across the weekend.

With 30 booth spots available, the fair stays intentionally curated,  a well-rounded, high-quality show rather than a crowded one.

Why Exhibit

• Start your year off strong. As the first fair of the season in the area, you'll reach collectors before the rest of the region's shows even open.

• A dependable, indoor setting. No tents, no weather worries,  just a comfortable space to display your work and talk with visitors.

• A juried show. Jurying keeps the fair's quality high, so you're exhibiting alongside a curated group of fellow fine artists.

• Built-in foot traffic. Fairlawn Plaza Mall brings its own visitors in addition to those coming specifically for the fair.

• Real promotion behind the fair. In addition to our social media and web promotions, past sponsor support has included radio ads, TV appearances, and digital billboards around the city, bringing more visitors your way.

• We take care of our artists. Past exhibitors have enjoyed meals and snacks provided throughout the fair weekend.

• Community. Meet other working artists and connect with the Topeka Art Guild, an active community of painters, sculptors, and artisans across Northeast Kansas.

Key Details

Eligibility & Guidelines

The fair is open to fine artists working in original, handmade media. A jury panel reviews all entries before acceptance.

Not eligible, 

• AI-generated artwork

• 3D-printed work, unless the artist designed the original 3D model themselves

Ready to Apply?

Applications are open now, with early-bird pricing through November 30, 2026; the fee is $25; after that, it rises to $45. Either way, submit your work for jury review, and we'll follow up with a decision by January 30th 2027, in plenty of time to plan for the fair.
