Support the Topeka Art Guild

There are many ways to support TAG.

#1 Become an ACTIVE member

The art guild needs ACTIVE members. Many of our members have been a part of the guild for twenty years or more. They worked on various committees, displayed their art in the guild, or taught classes. Senior members may eventually need to slow down a bit.

We need new members who are ready to spend some "QUALITY TIME" at the gallery. If you have questions about joining, please send an email to our new email address: admin@TopekaArtGuild.org

A volunteer will reply.

You may also drop by the gallery and talk to the volunteer who is working that day.

#2 Donate

TAG os a 5-1(c)3 nonprofit organization. 100% of your contribution is tax deductible. DONATE

#3 Purchase Art!

Each purchase helps the Topeka Art Guild to grow.

#4 Take part in TAG Fundraisers

In September,  the Sertoma Duck Race is our main fundraiser.

#5 Take Classes!

While the main goal of any class offered at the Topeka Art Guild is to help artists at any level improve their art, a bit of the entry fee does come back to TAG. (And for a few of our classes, 100% of the money goes to TAG!)

Why donate to the Topeka Art Guild?

Our mission is to support and promote the visual arts and art education through public programs and exhibitions of original work.

     Your donations help us provide:

    • Gallery space so that high school students across our area can show their art in a real gallery. That is  affirming for beginning artists.    Pablo Picasso said: "Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once (s)he grows up.
    • Space for artists to gather to freely learn from one another.
    • Classes for artists of all ages to learn from fellow artists, visiting artists and/or professors.
    • Annual scholarships to high school students so that they may pursue art as a career..
    • Awards to artists in juried competitions so that they can better market themselves and support themselves.

Art is not a thing, it is a way.  Elbert Hubbard
