Juror's Statement from Staci Ogle

Thank you for inviting me out to juror the 2023 Topeka Art Guild Kansas show, it was a great honor, and there were many fantastic pieces to choose from with great composition and style, and wonderful representation. It was important for me to keep the theme in mind while judging this exhibit as well as paying attention to the craft and composition of each individual piece. I was very pleased with the variety of mediums presented throughout the exhibit as well as the various skill levels that were present. All of the 5 pieces that I selected were perfect representations of our beautiful state and the talent that can be found within. Congratulations to all the artists who participated and made this exhibition possible.
