Bob Smith, an accomplished Tennessee Artist

If you have ever wanted to  try watercolor, but you've been hesitant because you've heard that it is a difficult medium, this is your chance to explore painting with water.

Explore techniques that will help you express yourself with the beauty of watercolor, using flowers as our subject. Learn not only some basic techniques, but several watercolor 'hacks' you can use in your works.  The day should be fun and informative, regardless of your skill level.

Bob, an accomplished Tennessee artist, has widely exhibited and received several awards.  His watercolors are in homes nationwide        and internationally.  His subjects are varied, but his floral paintings have intentional color and composition encouraging viewers to explore his paintings. Plus, he’s offering as a fund-raiser! We are blessed!

Membership Meetings are held monthly from Spetember to May. We take summers off.

An artist is asked to come and share how they do what they do. This past year a few of the speakers were Michelle Levian speaking on her art printing business and why gicelles can be a good idea for your art business, Jonah Graf spoke on  his sculptures, Mark Hahn spoke on making art from found objects and Jane Zoble told us about her sculptures.

Every meeting is informative and the fellowship akes it fun as well.

Our May meeting is always a TAG business meeting and only open to TAG members as we vote on the next Board and and changes to our rules.
