ACRYLIC PAINTING FOR BEGINNERS


This is a workshop style class, open to all ages and all levels of experience.  Drop by any time from 4:00 to 6:30.

All materials are furnished by the Topeka Art Guild, except smocks. Come dressed in clothing that can accept "happy little accidents."

The emphasis is on having FUN with acrylic paints.

  • If you wish to learn by copying, sample paintings are available.
  • If you choose to bring a phone or iPad, (with ear-phones) you can play a tutorial from the internet.
  • If you want bring a photo, that's a GREAT way to experience the joy of painting.

Help, encouragement, and hints are available.
This is not a step-by-step class in which we all paint the same thing. (But if you NEED step-by-step instructions, just ask!)

There is no charge for this workshop, but donations to the Topeka Art Guild are gratefully accepted.
